Vanquished Destiny

Judas did not time to react and the arrow hit directly. He yelled in pain from this and twisting his body around to fire a small red, yellow and blue ball of condensed fire toward Orin. He gave a small snicker at his own ability, then realizing Mina had lifted him high into the air. Her wings drapped around him to prevent his escape.
"Now my love, this will seal it."She said, kissing him passionately.
Judas suddenly felt his body become much weaker as his legs went numb. He knew this would not steal his soul only deliver a final touch so he could not even fight back.
"No..."He mustered, as he punched her square in the stomach.
This strike knocked the wind out of her, her wings let go as Judas now extremely weakened fell to the ground. His body crashing to the earth with a thud.

Rytha pulled the arrows out of her legs, growling dangerously. She staggered over to Virahnus and fell to her knees again beside him.
"Don't die, wolf man, or I'll kick your ass in the next life" she said quietly, she turned to the medics who had hurried to the scene "You! Squirrel! GET YOUR FUCKING ASS OVER HERE NOW!" she roared.
The squirrel ran over and started working on healing Virahnus.
Rytha searched the squirrel's mind with her mind powers, she smirked, this guy was from the future.

One of Orin's healers was working on Virahnus aswell. All of the arrows wereout and the bleeding had been halted. His breathing was stable and his pulse was fine. All that was left to do was close the wounds fully. "He won't die. I promise." the medic said to Rytha. "If he does, I submit to any ass kicking you may offer." Orin was still livid about the actions of his former archers. He stood there, seething, waiting for a good oppurtunity to seize Judas.

Judas staggered up, his eyes gazing angrily at the woman who had betrayed him. Mina regained her breath and dove once more at Judas, this time he was ready. Punching her out of the air with a fist to the face, Judas roared in anger. He concentrated and prepared his lightning, this time it would fry her. Electricity flowed through both of his hands, he felt the warmth of the magic through his body.
"I am sorry, love but this is the end!" She shrieked, diving with agility and grace, every movement seemed a blur.
Judas opened his eyes just as the succubus was a few inches from his face, he snickered once before unleashing all of the prepared magic onto her. She was shot backwards by the force of the electricity, her entire body smoking.
Judas extended his hands even more letting his last drop of power at her. With one final scream, Mina fell to the ground. Her body now a smoldering lump of burnt flesh.
Judas let out a sigh of relief as he went down on one knee. "I can't believe it was all a lie..."

Rytha smirked at the medic "Very well"
She looked at the blood flowing freely out of the wounds in her legs.
"Damn it, now i need new pants..." she thought.
A sudden thought hit her.
"Hey, do either of you medics have any spare bandages? You don't want my blood getting everywhere now, do you?"

The healer waved his arm over her wounds and they vanished along with the blood. "I can do better." he said, proud of his prowess. He was a good healer. He gave her a wink and a broad rin, showing his pearly, perfect teeth, the whole while continuing to heal Virahnus with care. "Your friend shoul be fully healed within the enxt five or so minutes. Have you considered joining the guild?"

Virahnus rested for a while without moving, tears still running down his cheeks from his glittery puppy eyes. He looked up at Rytha and reached out with a paw, weakly and shaking.

Judas finally stood up after a long time of pondering and feeling betrayed. He walked back to the area where Rytha and theb others were stationed, still having the arrow stuck in him. He did not feel much like talking or fighting right now so he decided he would got with Orin quietly even if it meant him being knocked out. He did not want to remember the memories and times they had shared because Mina had played it all. He arrived at the area, still staggering.

Rytha shook her head at the medic "Nah, I'm insane" she replied, shrugging.
She held Virahnus' paw when he reached out to her, giving him a sympathetic smile.

Orin sighed. "Oh..." he was rather disspointed, because both of them had talent, but he did not show it. He walked over to Judas. "Give me a hundred gold and you're free. Free to do anything you want. Free to... work for me. No, no gold. Service. You will gain your freedom through service." He handed Judas a sword. "Also, be careful from now on. Succubus are dangerous. You should have known that." He took a step forward. "One more thing. Your archer. The one that jumps absurdly high. I see him as a danger. He should be confined."

Judas gripped the short sword, giving it a few practice swings. He looked at Orin and finally cracked into a small smile.
"I'll work as long as my brothers can come with me." He whistled and Yuri and Larz both came running back to Judas.
"So bro, where's Mina?" Larz asked, unaware of the battle that had just happened.
Judas pointed down to the body of his once beloved Mina, Larz looked at it for a few moments then replied.
"Damn, oh well she was a slut anyway." He said, laughing out of his own drunken stupidity.
Judas snickered at the joke as did Yuri.

Rytha smiled at Yuri.
"You're quite a fighter I can see" she complimented.
She glanced at the body of Mina, then looked at Judas.
"Aw, poor you, all succubus are the same"

Orin punched Yuri in the gut. "There's no need to jump over three trees and then sprint. What were you playing at? Do you think that it makes you seem superior to waste your energy? I think you're an idiot." He motioned to Judas. "Keep them tame." He then looked to Rytha. "I really would appreciate your accompaniment... Yuri is all yours to do with as you wish."

Rytha stood up in a flash.
"I'll join your forces, with Virahnus, just NEVER punch Yuri again" she said angrily, then she smiled with a sudden mood swing "Me and Virahnus need cover anyway" she added.

"If he behaves idiotically, I will do worse to him. We have no room for horseplay in a band like this." He glared at her. "If you wnt me to leave him be, teach him how to act."

"Fine" Rytha replied, returning the glare. She knelt back down next to Virahnus and took his paw again.
"Is he okay now?" she asked the medics.
The squirrel looked up.
"Yes miss, he just needs rest" he said.

Orin walked over to a nearby tree and sat down alone. He often wondered why he even had a team tobegin with. Afterall, he had been a lone wolf nearly his whole life. He resolved to be kinder to his allies. Leaning against that tree, he thought back to when it all went wrong...

"here, I, Analyn Cordova lie strapped to this altar, a pendulum whistling y my face overhead. Eventually it will reach me, and I will slowly be severed in two. I just wish the tides would catch me first, and give me the death I always longed for..." Orin stared wide eyed at his love, unable to help her. He was chained to a wall and forced to watch as the imperialist dogs executed her. Orin was a member of a resistance group trying to halt the tyranny of the emperor, aswell as the hate he harboured towards anthro kind. He watched as she was cut in two, her screams piercing the dark and lonely night...

A tear fell down his cheek. That horrid memory would never leave him. "Bounty hunter..." he scoffed. "I'm done this charade. I want revenge..."

Judas walked over to his two brothers, they began to contemplate something to each other.
"Judas, do ya really think this is a good idea?" Larz questioned, taking a swig of his liquor once again.
"I do not trust him, brother. He could stab us in the back at anytime." Yuri said coldly, looking over Orin's way.
Judas laughed. "You guys worry too much, besides I know that if he does you guys will be there to kill him." He hissed.
Yuri and Larz snickered at this but after talking for a few more minutes returned over to Rytha and the others.
Judas swung his short sword around like he was a master at it all ready.
Yuri stepped up and clasped Cytha's hand, whispering. "I am glad I will be working with such a graceful woman like yourself."
Larz just closed his eyes and layed up again a nearby tree, humming a tune.

Orin's ears perked up. "Kill me, eh? There's already a plot to do me in? You just joined, and already you're planning my death?" He walked over to yuri again and punched him in the face, breaking his nose. "Go home." he said to Yuri and Larz. "It's obvious that neither of you can be trusted. As for you, Judas, I would suggest you were careful, because you never know who could stab you in the back."

Judas chuckled as Yuri stood up, wipping the blood off his face. "I do not trust you therefore my brothers are staying. I do not know what you could be planning to do with me. You can either take us all or we will leave. It is your choice, Wolf." Judas growled, fairly irritated by the abuse he had been giving his brother, Yuri.

"Leave then. I cannot have allies plotting to kill me on their first day. In joining, you are all my subordinates and must do as I say. Ofcourse, you will be paid for completing missions, none of which involve my murder. You wuold not b able to kill me anyway. You can all come, but I harbour a dislike towards that bow man, so anything either of you three do wrong, he will be punished for. You will watch."

Judas did not say a word as he knew that if he did Orin would come back at Yuri. Larz sighed, shaking his head. Never getting along.
