Akatsu, a small boy from the village of the mist, has been training with his father and mother since he was a year old. Now 5 years old, his parents have intrusted him with an animal companion, a crow named koumuru, he is always seen cupping it in his hands. Akatsu is a shy, quiet and overally lonely young child, carrying only a small knife and a few bottles of unique poisons and other strange liquids to defend himself, he does not feel the need and wishes never to fight. He does not feel comfortable around other children his age but instead speaks with his animal companion, knowing that it is his only friend. Since he has not yet found any jutsus that he has inherited from the Itami family, he is a sort of an outcast. He cares only for himself, Koumuru and his family.
