Bleach: New Hollows, New Battles.

Hasuko stood amongst his companions of Squad 11. He had little
experience dealing with Hollows and missions for that matter, his eeys drifted back to his comrades as he awaiated Captain Kenpachi to arrive. The mission was a joint effort between this squad and another. The details were clouded in mystery as it was only for the captains to know any important information.

"Damn, this will alot of work..." Hasuko said, as he awaited his partner from the other squad toarrive and then the mission briefing would begin.

The other soldiers of Squad 11 were getting quite restless as well, drawing their zanpakutos and even begin small practice fights as they awaited the other squad they had no idea what they were about to deal with so it would be quite interesting.

Kaede crouched barefooted on one of the walls surrounding the Soul Reaper academy, concealing her soul pressure through sheer force of will; the sixteen-year-old girl watched as Soul Reapers gathered in a small courtyard, evidently waiting for their captain.

Kaede knew that the protective orb around the academy would be dropped for a split second to allow for a gate to the world of the living to be opened; she pushed her blue-black hair out of her eyes and frowned, the torn jeans and sleeveless black shirt she was wearing was not very good protection against the danger of her mission, but they would have to do.

The girl slipped her Hollow mask out of her backpack and put it on; she was once a Hollow, but a Soul Reaper had destroyed her and her soul had been cleansed. For some reason, she still hated Soul Reapers. The mask itself was bone white and smooth with a black gothic cross on the front; she smiled behind it - her chance of revenge was drawing near.

A spiritual pressure arose as the Captain of Squad 11, Kenpachi appeared. His smile, dark and malevolent as he licked the side of his face. He felt another pressence, a powerful one as he glanced over the memebers of his own squad and pointed toward the gate to the human world.

""You will begin shortly, the Squad will not be joining you. Hasuko...You will guide them in." Kenpachi ordered, his eye locking onto the young soul reaper.

Hasuko gasped as all the other soul repaers turned to him with amazement and hope. He had no idea why the captain would ask such a thing but as the gate opened he gave a small grin and nodded to his supeior.

"Come on, everyone behind me!"

Kaede hesitated - the large man with the little pink-haired girl on his shoulder was not one she wanted to cross. Not yet.
The orb around the academy shivered and disappeared; Kaede slipped in quietly, hopping onto a rooftop.

Going into the world of the living was taking a big risk, she could get turned into a Hollow again! Getting sliced with a zanpakuto was not on her to-do list if she could help it. Kaede waited until all the squad had gone into the gate and then followed, turning herself invisible with a few whispered words.

All through the walk to the world of the living, Kaede was on edge; what if she got caught? Souls weren't meant to leave the society but for this mission of revenge it was necessary.

The gates exploded outward as the shinigami flew out into the world of the living. It seems the gate was quite unstable and only a few out of the actually squad came through.

Hasuko growled as he noticed only about five came out of the gate. Almost immediately a large hollow faced him, its white mask clear as day as the soul reaper drew his zanpakuto. A single slice from it cleaved the creature in two.

"Hurry, get in formation!" Hasuko said, his blade drenched in blood.

Kaede ducked under cover of a large tree; if a Hollow saw her, she was dead; if a Soul Reaper saw her, she was dead.

So it was pretty much a lose-lose situation at the moment.

Her invisibility spell wore off; she took a bomb from the back of her belt, she'd made it herself - specifically designed to harm only soul beings, which included Reapers. Kaede lobbed it into the midst of the Soul Reapers, all too aware that her soul energy was no longer restrained, probably noticable to the equivalent of shouting 'Hey look at me!'

She crouched down, the tree shielding her from the explosion; she noticed with slight amusement that the chain of fate was nowhere to be seen on her chest so technically she couldn't become a Hollow.

The bomb she threw didn't have the power to kill a Reaper - but the throwing knives held in a belt that stretched diagonally across her chest did.

Hasuko noticed the bomb, his eyes widening as he made a quick movement and kicked the projectile only to have it explode on him and no one else. He was temporarily blinded as he collasped to the ground, coughing and wheezing. All the other members of the squad held their formation around the leader as he slowly stood up.

"Damn...Spread out! Kill that intruder!" Hasuko roared, completely enraged by this.

"But sir...She may not even be an enemy." One said quietly.

Hasuko spun about, pointing his blade at the man's throat. He knew that but he didn't want to lose any of his squad to this woman.

"I know, I just am looking out for you all. Now follow orders." He said, calmly.

"Damn." Kaede growled. "Busted."

She rolled evasively as a zanpakuto sliced through her hiding place; she pressed her hands to the ground, swinging her leg around in a kick that sent the attacking Soul Reaper sprawling. She hopped to her feet with a throwing knife in her hand, taking a moment to smile maliciously at their leader, she knew she had rattled him.

"My my, you do have an ugly personality..." a camp male voice commented to her right.

Kaede turned around and punched him in the stomach, snickering at the sight of the guy's weird coloured eyelashes.

"Yumichika!" a Soul Reaper gasped.

Yumichika it seemed, had been too busy looking in the mirror to hear orders from his leader, Kaede noted. She brought her fist down on the back of his neck, right on the nerves and then span around wildly because many Soul Reapers were circling her, waiting for the order to move in for the kill.
