| Progressive Metal is the best kind in my opinion, but I don't like the kinds when they scream the whole time or grunt instead of sing, or when all they do is repeat the same chord over and over again. I like Progressive because it has a lot of solos and is more focused on the complexity of the music, and it takes really talented to composers to make that kind of music.

| Dream Theatre is an awesome Progressive Metal band, in my opinion (They're all like virtuoso musicians). I have their album Systematic Chaos, and my favorite songs are:
Dark Eternal Night - (It's really sweet how there's like 5 seconds of Ragtime in it)
Ministry of Lost Souls is awesome too. I like them all, really it's hard to say what my favorites are. | |

| Dream theatre is probably my favourite band. I love all of their songs except one but I forget the name of it. I hate it very much though. It's just some random voises apologizing about stuff for like eight minutes. | |

| Oh... I might just get rid of it because for some reason, it causes me to becojme very annoyed whenever it comes on. One time, I was walking down mainstreet and it came on and really made me want to do something violent. | |

| Metal and all its sub genres are sweet iam not a big "Nu Metal" ex-slipknot or Coalchamber fan... nor do I like say Metalcore but beyond that I like it all from Prog Metal to Death Metal
My top 3 Metal Genres are
1- POWER METAL!!!! (Hammerfall,Edguy,Dragonforce,Sonata Arctica)
2-Death Metal (Cannibal Corpse,Fallen,Vader)
3-Grindcore (Not 100% Metal persay but I love its odd and Complex scales etc anyone that can play a mean Grindcore lick can play ANYTHING but for listening Value...just walk away lol You need a Bass/Guitar ear lol) |
